Our Mission is to provide immediate help and facilitate
Is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based community service organisation; partnering with a number of local organisations and businesses across the South Coast.
As a church we are passionate about embodying Jesus and taking His love into our local community in order to see lives touched and changed. This vision came alive when the care arm of our church was founded over four years ago and we began meeting people’s needs in a practical and profound way. The aim of Salt care is to see and meet the unmet needs in our community as an expression of God’s love.
We currently provide food for over 150 disadvantaged people from our community every week, as well as providing clothing and a space for people to connect every Thursday through our Saltbox program. This has had an amazing impact on people’s lives, as we open our doors and provide a hot lunch, tea and coffee, groceries and clothing all free of charge, and most importantly a time for building great friendships.
We have a great vision for expanding Salt Care’s work into emergency housing and crisis relief as our resources permit.
If you or your family is in need of assistance please contact us, or come along to Saltbox – every Thursday from 10am to 1pm at the Community Hall, 17 Birriley Street, Bomaderry 2541 – everyone welcome.
We have a Mobile Response Van that will be providing support to Homeless People. For more information get in touch today.
